Congratulations Linda for reaching 20 years! As you say, “time flies when you’re having fun”! We know how much you love your profession and how fitness is such a big part of your life. We also appreciate your commitment to the club and our members. You are a true professional in every aspect including personal training and group exercise.

Linda’s experience began as a volunteer at the Springfield YMCA in 1997 during her senior year of high school. While working part-time, Linda earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Exercise Science at Springfield College. Her early experience and education was the foundation for both her career and her years as a fitness business owner of FIT in Springfield.

Her accomplishments include nationally recognized certifications with ACSM Health Fitness Instructor, NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, AFAA Group Exercise and Yoga, AFPA Perinatal Fitness Instructor, and TRX Suspension Training Course qualified.

Linda stays connected with her community. She has participated in the American Stroke Association’s Train to End Stroke marathon training program, raising $4,300.00 and was subsequently hired to coach for six seasons. She also organized a Workout for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for five consecutive years to help raise over $5,000.00.

Linda has told us she gets great energy from the members here at Century Fitness including her clients and small group training participants. She says it keeps her motivated to reach her own personal goals such as finishing five marathons, including Boston, and six half marathons, too. She also placed second in bodybuilding and entered fitness model competitions. In 2016, she completed her first Spartan Trifecta finishing three obstacle courses totaling 27 miles, and one of those courses was up Killington Mountain! Can’t wait to see what Linda’s future years look like!
